Things to do

IN STELLENBOSCH, FRANSCHHOEK AND BEYOND

We’re so happy you’re joining us in one of our favourite corners of the world! Whether you’re planning a chilled weekend or a mini adventure, here are a few things we absolutely love and think you might too:

Delaire Graff Estate
Not just for the wine (which is excellent), but for the incredible views and iconic art, don’t miss the famous Tretchikoff “Chinese Girl” painting inside.

Franschhoek Wine Tram
A must! Hop on and off at some of the valley’s best wine estates. Be sure to stop at Plaisir, one of our top picks for great reds and beautiful scenery.

Babylonstoren
Our favourite rosé lives here. This magical estate is all about beautifully curated gardens, farm-to-table food, and serious Cape Winelands charm.

Boschendal
A stunning place to wander, picnic, or sip wine under the oaks. It’s easy-going and effortlessly gorgeous.

Banhoek Chilli Oil Company
If you know, you know. Grab a seriously good burger at this local Stellenbosch spot, no fuss, just flavour.

Old Town Stellenbosch
Cape Dutch architecture, art galleries, boutiques, cafés, and wine bars, it’s made for strolling and discovering little gems.

FANCY A LITTLE DRIVE?

Chapman’s Peak & Hout Bay
One of the most scenic coastal drives in the world. End your trip with fish & chips at the lighthouse in Hout Bay, a local legend.

The Silo Hotel (Cape Town)
Head to the Willaston Bar for cocktails with a view and don’t skip the carrot cake - yes, it’s that good.

Oranjezicht City Farm Market
Wrap up your weekend with a Sunday visit to this buzzing market near the ocean. Lobster tails, local produce, live music, and a perfect laid-back vibe.

MAKE A WEEKEND OF IT

From wine farms and scenic drives to burgers, rosé, and seaside sunsets, we hope you take the time to enjoy all the beauty (and bites!) the Cape has to offer.
